Project Title	Parthenium containment line and buffer zone
Partner	Etheridge Shire Council
Funding	$10,850 through the Australian Government Transitional Regional Investment Strategy funding 2008 – 2009
Description	The containment line is along the top of the Great Dividing Range and the current threat to the containment line is in the Lynd Junction district. The infestation will be treated 3 times in the current growing season – January, February and March. All Northern Gulf region local governments participate in this program. Monitoring and review of the plan and the threat is on-going.
