Project Title	Improving Adoption and Innovation of Agricultural Best Practice in Far North Queensland

Funding	$396,500 through the Australian Government National Landcare Program Sustainable Practices under Caring for our Country
Description	To support horticultural farmers in the Mareeba/Dimbulah Irrigation Area in both the Northern Gulf Resource Management Group and Terrain NRM regions. To adopt improved land and water management practices, improving their sustainability, productivity and profitability while assisting to achieve regional catchment targets. Multi-commodity farmer groups will trial and implement best management practices and develop sub-catchment and property management plans.
