The Northern Gulf Resource Management Group were proud hosts and organisers of the first Gulf Kids Environment Day on the 2nd September at Lake Belmore. Children learnt about weedbusting, biodiversity and particpated in a range of activities including waterbug monitoring, bird watching, insect catching and gardening games. They also particpated in making a mural titled 'Our Gulf Environment' which will be on display at the Barra, Beef and Bulldust Expo at Karumba on the 4-6 November. Here are some of our favourite pics from the Gulf Kids day! if you'd like to see more, check out our Facebook page.
